Destination Unknown for Humans Sthlm Fashion Week Debut.

For HUMANA Second Hand’s Stockholm Fashion Week 2025 debut, Angelo da Silveira collaborated to design and create nine looks for a performance and installation that reimagine the future of fashion through experimental circular design, viewed from the Humanaverse.

The looks grew from a post-apocalyptic narrative where today’s overconsumption has left humanity to reinvent beauty and function with what remains. A future where today’s fashion consumption has destroyed the world as we know it. The air is no longer breathable – hair is luxury, everyone wears masks and makeup is applied on top. Appearance still matters. Beauty still matters. Even in collapse, humanity’s need for surface remains. All garments were crafted from reclaimed materials sourced through HUMANA’s network, brought to life by Unitex’s community of local tailors in just four weeks.

Humana Second Hand, established in 1982 as part of HUMANA Sverige, Miljö – och Biståndsförening, is a non-profit humanistic association based in Sweden. All surplus from their operations goes to developing aid projects that contribute to ecological, social, and economic sustainability worldwide. By staying ahead of trends — and a step behind in clothing manufacturing — HUMANA Second Hand presents a unique assortment that challenges fast fashion platforms.
